NIC Components Corp. is pleased to announce the release of the NPIM_S series of molded metal composite SMT power inductors. The NPIM_S series is available in thirteen cases sizes ranging from 4.4mm x 4.2mm size to 13.5mm x 12.6mm size (L x W) with low component heights of 1.2mm to 6.0mm.
NPIM_S series covers an inductance value range of 0.1uH to 150uH in ±20% tolerance with an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C (ambient + self-heating). NPM_S series has low DC resistance (DCR) from 0.65mΩ to 385mΩ and features high saturation current (Isat) ratings up to 70A (Delta L = 30%) and temperature rise current (Irms) of up to 50A (Delta T = 40°C).
The NPIM_S series is ideal for use for high current DC-DC conversion applications in power supplies, industrial equipment, motor drives, LED drivers, networking, and communications applications.
NPIM_S series is RoHS and REACH compliant, halogen-free and reflow soldering heat rated to +260°C.
