Melville, NY – July 2025 – – NIC Components is proud to announce the release of its new NPDC series of AEC-Q200 qualified metallized polypropylene DC-Link capacitors. Designed to deliver superior reliability and performance, the NPDC series is ideal for a wide range of applications, including DC-Link circuits, renewable energy systems, motor drives, and power supplies.
The Automotive Grade NPDC capacitors are available in three lead space options — 27.5 mm, 37.5 mm, and 52.5 mm — with standard dimensions varying by capacitance and voltage. Featuring a low-profile design and boxed construction, these radial devices are perfect for space-constrained applications such as HVAC systems, renewable energy systems, motor drives, and light electric vehicles (LEVs).
Key features of the NPDC DC-Link capacitors include:
Rated Capacitance: From 1 µF to 200 µF
Low ESR: Down to 2.5 mΩ
High Ripple Current Capability: Up to 34 A
Rated Voltages: 500 VDC, 650 VDC, 700 VDC, 800 VDC, 900 VDC, 1000 VDC, 1100 VDC, and 1200 VDC at +85 °C
The NPDC series is engineered to meet the demands of modern, high-performance systems, offering robust and reliable operation in challenging environments. Samples and production quantities are available now.
