NGTA Series
Surface Mount Gas Discharge Tubes
NIC Components is pleased to announce the introduction of the NGTA series of surface mount gas discharge tubes.
The NGTA series features a single element construction in 1812 (4.5 x 3.2) chip style case size. Breakdown voltages (100V/S) range from 150V ~ 400V with an impulse discharge current of 1,000A (8/20uS pulse). Arc voltages (1A) range from 8V ~ 15V.
These gas discharge tubes are ideal for use in telecommunication, networking & servers, power supplies, and test & instrumentation applications from portable, handheld, space-saving devices to large scale solutions.
The NGTA series has been introduced with NIC's continued expansion of the circuit protection line and 5 new gas discharge series. The NGTx family (NGTA, NGTC, NGTD, NGTF and NGTM) are UL safety agency transient-voltage surge suppressors for high energy over-voltage protection in small surface mount formats.
