NRB-XS series delivers industry-leading performance for lighting ballast applications

NIC Components has introduced a family of high performance miniature aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The NRB-XS series combines small form factors with extended load life and high ripple current ratings at high temperatures, making them ideal for use in lighting ballast applications.
The polarized, radial leaded NRB-XS series is available with capacitance values ranging from 1.0µF to 220µF and rated voltages of 160VDC to 450VDC. It has an operating temperature range between -25ºC to +105ºC with high ripple current ratings (up to 2.37ARMS) under operation to +105ºC. Case sizes range from 8mm diameter x 11.5mm to 18mm diameter x 25mm. Load life performance spans 8,000 hours for smaller case sizes and up to 10,000 hours for devices with diameters of 12.5mm and larger. The NRB-XS series is fully RoHS compliant. Packaging is bulk or taped, for use with automated assembly processes. Pricing from $0.07 to $0.67 USD each, in production volumes. Lead times from 8 ~ 12 weeks.
