Series - Flat Chip Solid
Electrolyte Capacitor Provide High Performance Solution
NIC Components has introduced a new range of flat chip surface mount
low ESR solid polymer electrolyte aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The
NPC series
provides a highly competitive, space saving, high-performance
capacitor solution, for use in a wide range of distributed power
management applications; including DC-DC power supplies, POL, LDO, VRM
regulators in high current - low voltage power module applications.
The NPC series features low impedance and low ESR (0.007 ohm) at
over wide range of
frequencies, plus high ripple current ratings (3.5Arms) at 105ºC.
Parts are available in capacitance values from 33µF and 390µF and
working voltages of 2VDC to 6.3VDC. NPC overall case dimensions are a
compact 7.3mm x 4.3mm, with case heights ranging between 1.4mm to
2.9mm and fit EIA (7343) ‘D’ land patterns.
The NPC series is fully RoHS compliant, including Sn-whisker free gold
flash terminals and is compatible with Pb-free (SAC) reflow soldering
processes. A wide operating temperature range of –55ºC to +105ºC makes
the NPC series suitable for a broad range of applications. Components
are supplied taped and reeled packaged for automated assembly
