NIC turns to Setron in Germany

In line with its strategy for ongoing European expansion, passive component specialist NIC Components has signed a franchise distribution agreement in Germany with Setron.

News: In line with its strategy for ongoing European expansion, passive component specialist NIC Components has signed a franchise distribution agreement in Germany with Setron. Under the terms of the new agreement Setron will carry the complete NIC product portfolio, ranging from capacitors, resistors and inductors to diodes, thermistors and varistors. These will be stocked at Setron's logistics centre in Braunschweig.
Discussing the new agreement John Boys, NIC's European distribution sales manager comments: "The deal with Setron is in line with our plans for significant growth in Europe. Setron's expertise in passive components, combined with their commitment to significant levels of stock holding and a very broad customer base, will significantly speed NIC's penetration of the critical German market". Andreas Lausch, Setron's sales and marketing manager, adds: "The large number of products that NIC offers will ensure that we can address any customer requirement for passive components. This extensive product range will be backed up by high levels of stock availability to ensure rapid responses to customer demand".
