NIC receives most successful investor award from Kriss Akabusi  [ link ]

Passive component specialist NIC Eurotech has been awarded the title of most successful investor at the 2002 International Business Awards held by the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce. Over 300 representatives from the region's businesses attended the event that was staged at the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes.
Heather Barrett and Sam Coleman of NIC received the award from former Olympic athlete Kriss Akabusi. Since retiring from competitive athletics Kriss has forged a successful career as one of the country's top motivational speakers.
Commenting on the award, Heather, who is technical product marketing manager at NIC commented: "Since setting up in the UK in 1998, NIC has grown to become one of the electronics industry's most respected suppliers of passive components, and in particular low ESR capacitors." She continued: "This award recognizes the investment in both people and products that has made NIC successful across Europe.
