New NIC product series, Focus Products, and Spotlights...

The new NAZV series from NIC is low ESR SMT V-Chip aluminum electrolytic capacitor with extended life time ratings. 10µF to 1000µF and rated voltages of 6.3VDC to 50VDC with endurance performance ratings of 7,000 hours (5mm & 6.3mm) and 10,000 hours (8mm & 10mm) @ +105degC.

The NRB-XS series combines small form factors with extended load life and high ripple current ratings at high temperatures, making them ideal for use in lighting ballast applications. Ranging from 1.0µF to 220µF and rated voltages of 160VDC to 450VDC load life performance spans 8,000 hours for smaller case sizes and 10,000 hours (@ +105degC) for devices with diameters of 12.5mm and larger.

NIC Components is pleased to announce release of NPIS_L series of high current shielded surface mount power inductors. Available in 10 case sizes ranging from 3.0mm X 3.0mm to 8.0mm X 8.0mm (LxW) with component heights of 1.0mm to 4.5mm. Inductance values range from 0.8uH ~ 220uH in ±20% (M) and ±30% (Y) inductance tolerance.

NIC Components is proud to announce availability of 01005 Size Components...

Saving roughly 50% board space of 0201 size devices, the 01005 size, measuring just 0.4 mm x 0.2 mm, are the smallest products NIC Components currently offers. 01005 size also features the lowest profile for high-density SMT designs. Main applications for the 01005 include portable & hand-held products, communication equipment, including embedded devices.

The first NIC Components series offered in 01005 sizes is NMC01005; multilayer ceramic capacitor, in NPO dielectric (link to datasheet). The capacitance ranges between 0.5pF and 100pF rated at 16Vdc.

Expanded Low ESR offering and Soldering Upgrades to NPC Series...

ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) ratings to 0.007 ohm (with RCR of 3.5Arms) are now available in the NPC series. FREE samples in Quick Kit for immediate shipment

NPC series parts cross and replace Kemet "AO Cap" A700 Series, Panasonics "SP Cap" EEF-CD, CX, FD, H, L, S, UD, and UP series, Sanyo's ACP and APD series

Applications include POL, power management applications and power conversion devices in products such as computers, microprocessors circuits, SMPS (switch mode power supplies), Dc-to-Dc converters, filtering, and decoupling in Telecom applications. The NPC is also a great lower ESR alternative to polymer cathode tantalum capacitors.

Effective immediately discontinuation of special "K" (+/-10%) capacitance tolerance aluminum electrolytic capacitors (SMT and Leaded LDD)
