NIC Components utilizes the IPC1752 forms to show material breakdown and PCB manufacturing information for ALL RoHS compliant parts in both Class 4 and Class 6 versions.

IPC-1752-1 PDF documents, Adobe Reader® 7.0.5 is required as minimum to open the PDF form; 7.0.7 or higher is recommended.

REACH Compliance - NIC Components Corp is aware of REACH as a European Community regulation on chemicals. Currently NIC Components Corp supports the underlying goals of REACH, which are consistent with our own commitment to promote the responsible manufacturing, use and handling of hazardous materials and substances.

Per the candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) published October 28, 2008 we are reviewing these substances for compliance per the EU “REACH” requirements of less than 0.1% (w/w) for each substance.

Regularly refer to our Certificate of REACH Compliance for the most recent NIC Components series' compliance.

DecaBDE Compliance - Following the decision dated April 1, 2008 from the European Court of Justice to cancel point No. 2 of Decision 2005/717/EC, the substance, deca-BDE, will no longer be exempted (exemption 10a) in electrical - electronic components and goods as of July 1, 2008.

NIC Components has taken the due diligence in our Environmental policies in NOT including this substance in our transition to RoHS compliant parts and have never taken exemption of DecaBDE to achieve compliance. Our Certificiate of Compliance takes account for all up to date RoHS requirments and exemptions

PFoS Compliance - Due to the difficulty on breaking down PFOS in the environment and bioaccumulative nature of PFOS compounds, in December 2006, EU announced the ban of on the sale of PFOS after June 27, 2008.

NIC Components has taken the due diligence in our Environmental policies to test our product series and acknowledge compliance of PFoS restrictions. Our Certificate of Compliance can be downloaded showing compliance
